Feminist for Peace, Rights, and Justice Centre has been a beacon of hope and advocacy platform for women and girls’ rights. For the past six years, we’ve operated out of a modest MUD walled office but it’s time for a transformation.

Our current space is limited and a bit delapidated so during heavy rains, becomes unsafe with leaking roofs making it difficult to rescue women and girls in need. With only two beds, we sometimes face the heartbreaking reality of having women sleep on the floor putting their safety and our work at risk.

Our Vision: A Centre for Empowerment and Safety.

We are building a new state-of-the-art centre right in the heart of the slums of Kibera. This new facility will be more than just a safe haven; it will be a vibrant knowledge space and technical training centre where women can gain valuable skills. It will also serve as a feminist meeting bay, a place where women will come together to learn, share, and support each other, while also having fun and growing economically to be financially independent.
