TEAM BUILDING CONSULTANCY

ABOUT FPRJC!
FPRJC inspires and develops a generation of grassroots women to have a voice and ignite feminist leadership action for gender transformative change. We exists for the realization of a society free from all forms of gender-based discrimination, where every individual, regardless of their gender, age and identity can thrive and reach their full potential. Through advocacy and capacity building, we support communities to establish deep commitment to the promotion of human rights and the fight against inequalities and discrimination. We are the voice of the vulnerable and marginalized women, girls and other groups of different gender identities. We achieve this through our thematic areas on Women’s health right and well-being, Women’s Leadership & Governance and Women Climate Action and Livelihoods Development.
FPRJC seeks to engage a qualified and experienced consultant to lead a team building exercise for its volunteers and staffs. The organization is experiencing a number of organizational changes i.e. review and development of new policies and procedures, setting up of new structures and reorganization of operating systems, new volunteers and staffs joining the organization, a new strategic plan being developed . We have noted apprehension among team members and survivor syndrome settling into the team. The human resource department has prioritize a team building event for one day intended to address the possible effects of the mentioned changes and enable staffs and volunteers to cope accordingly.
PURPOSE AND SCOPE
The overall purpose of this assignment is to improve staff productivity and performance at the work place by conducting various fun, challenging and engaging activities to strengthen team spirit, trust and collaboration among staff members. The assignment also includes improving staff communication, conflict resolution, team morale and adapting to the organizational changes.

ACTIVITIES AND DELIVERABLES
The consultant(s) shall conduct and deliver the following;-
a) Prepare and conduct fun and productive activities involving all staff and volunteers (both indoor and outdoor) that promote team spirit and encourage an understanding of the role of teams in the work environment.
b) Facilitate discussions and formation of recommendations on improving interpersonal communication skills (internal communications, external communications, and confidentiality).
c) Prepare and submit a team building report with follow-up activities/recommendations.
d) Staff equipped with suitable solutions to deal with on-going organizational changes
e) Staff morale boosted

DURATION
The consultancy is expected to be completed within three days from the date of signing the contract.

REQUIREMENTS
The consultant(s) or consulting firm should have:
a) Proven experience of organizational change management, organizational development and team building.
b) Demonstrated knowledge and advanced skills with previous experience in the preparation of Team Building for small and medium scale organizations
c) Excellent facilitation and communication skills in English (oral and written)
d) Excellent rapporteuring and analytical skills necessary for capturing the reviews and suggestions that will emerge from the interactive sessions during the exercise
e) Flexible nature and ability to adapt to changing directions/thinking that may occur during the Retreat

REPORTING
The consultant(s) will report to the Executive Director (ED).

PROPOSAL DOCUMENTS
Interested consultants or firms should submit a narrative proposal, a detailed budget outlining all costs associated with the consultancy, curriculum vitae, relevant past work, and references.

EVALUATION CRITERIA
Proposals will be evaluated based on:
1. Qualifications and experience of the consultant(s) or firm
2. Proposed methodology and approach.
3. Clarity and relevance of the budget proposal.
4. Past performance and references.
FPRJC reserves the right to accept or reject any proposal and is not bound to select the lowest-priced proposal.

All information obtained during the consultancy shall be treated as confidential and may not be disclosed to any third party without the written consent of FPRJC.
